THE EXPERIENCE:
Don’t leave the Basque Country without enjoy in one of our unique and fun cider old farm-houses.

Together with the gastronomic clubs, they are two of the most unique places that our gastronomic culture hides. We will drive 15 minutes from San Sebastián to reach and ones in the old cider farm-house while we see the facilities and the production of it, I will tell you everything about our cider cultural tradition.

How it is produced, its evolution throughout history, how we taste it, how we live and enjoy it. Next we will enter to the cellar where you will freak out with the “Txotx” ritual and its original amazing dishes, surrounded by old giant oak barrels from where we will serve all the cider that we want because everybody is free to drink as much as we want.

I guess that going to a cider house is like going to heaven with a return ticket, it is an awesome experience. But what really makes cider farm-house experience so special is that all the people that use to go to the same barrels to pour cider, and it is there where everyone begins to mix and interact, creating great vibes.

To end before returning to San Sebastian, we will go to live the atmosphere to the town, where all the people who have been in the cider farm-house use to go to continue enjoying the good vibes.

* Txotx : although technically it is the action of opening the “kupela” (barrel). For the locals the “Txotx” is one of ours hallmarks, being a festive act deeply rooted in friendship, respect, culture and fun. Txotx !!!
